Job Description Job Title: Physician (MD) Location: Marion, IL Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday Compensation: $125.00 - $150.00 per hour Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physician to provide in-house medical services within a structured clinical setting. This part-time opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and the ability to deliver comprehensive care to an underserved adult population. The ideal candidate is confident practicing independently, committed to high-quality documentation, and comfortable working within established regulatory and accreditation standards. Position Offers: - Comprehensive Health Benefits - Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and STO -Federal Paid Holidays - Malpractice Insurance Coverage Key Responsibilities: - Conduct complete physical examinations and obtain comprehensive medical and social histories. - Perform thorough assessments, correlate findings, and document objective clinical data. - Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing. - Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications as indicated. - Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate transfers to community hospitals for higher levels of care. - Maintain detailed and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, completed by the end of each workday. - Submit reports, evaluations, and treatment recommendations in accordance with clinical review processes. - Adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and internal clinical policies. - Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and reduce anxiety regarding care. Qualifications: - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. - Active and unrestricted state medical license in Illinois. - Board certification or board eligibility preferred. - Experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or correctional/structured care settings is a plus. - Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to work within regulatory guidelines.
