Description:Primary AccountabilitiesThe General Construction Laborer position includes preparing job sites, ensuring safe work conditions, transporting materials, using power tools and other equipment, building temporary structures, and job site cleanup. Major Duties--- Prepare job sites for construction activities.--- Ensure safe working conditions are always maintained.--- Transport materials to and from job sites.--- Use power tools and other equipment necessary for construction tasks.--- Build temporary structures as needed for construction projects.--- Maintain cleanliness and order at the job site, performing cleanup activities as required.Requirements:--- Demonstrate stamina--- Physical strength--- Attention to safety--- Time management skills--- Teamwork abilities--- Must be able to interact professionally with customers, clients and other team members--- Must have good communication skills--- Must have reliable transportationPhysical Demands--- Must be willing to work extended and varied shifts as required.--- Must have reliable transportation.--- Must be willing and able to work in all seasons and conditions throughout the year.--- Ability to lift items that are 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.--- May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).--- Must be able to climb stairs, lift. bend, kneel frequently and stand for long periods.--- Must be able to work in confined spaces, work with heights.--- Must be able to pass pre-employment tests (drug screen, Physical Capabilities Profile assessment and background check).Additional DutiesAdditional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time.
