As a Machine Operator, youll be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC and shop equipment used in steel fabrication. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities: - Operate, program, and maintain CNC and other shop equipment
- Clean, inspect, and monitor machinery for optimal performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Measure, mark, and stamp steel materials with precision
- Perform basic math calculations for accurate cuts and measurements
- Safely handle materials and assist with general shop tasks as neededQualifications:
- Prior experience operating CNC equipment is required
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in steel fabrication or construction preferred
- Equivalent hands-on experience or technical training will be considered
- Ability to read blueprints and follow production plans
