  - Responsibilities: Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med/Surg Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit, ensuring the best possible outcomes and maintaining the hospital's standards of excellence.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  --- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians in the medical-surgical unit.
  --- Administer medications, perform wound care, monitor vital signs, and carry out physician orders accurately.
  --- Assist with patient assessments, document patient conditions, and update care plans accordingly.
  --- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and post-discharge care.
  --- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
  --- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  --- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies. Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  3. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
