As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Operating Room, you will be joining a team of perioperative professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients. You will deliver care to patients that is crafted specifically to individual patient needs, and administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the region. - What you will do in this role: - - Assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during the designated shift - -
- Functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff - -
- Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when on duty - -
- Makes decisions regarding activities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource standards, and Standards of Care for the Unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team - -
- Supports and demonstrates alignment and leadership of the mission of Wesley Healthcare and Wesley ICARE standards - -
- Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participation in quality of care activities to initiate, implement, and sustain process improvements - -
- Maintains current professional knowledge, acts as a role model/resource, and oversees direct nursing care to patients - -
- Establishes and maintains effective and respectful communication in development of all collaborative relationships - -
