Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Behavioral Health Unit, Psych License: Active RN License Certifications: Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult), 10-panel drug screening including opiates, Titers must be within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) Must-Have Skills/Experience: - 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health - Travel experience required Description: Onboarding requirements include no exceptions for background checks. Background checks must be fully cleared prior to start. Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult is required. A 10-panel drug test, including opiates, is mandatory. Titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB must be current within the last 12 months. Candidates must have experience working in a Behavioral Health Unit. Patient population includes adults with anxiety, depression, manic disorders, borderline personality, and suicidal ideation. The unit has 14 beds with an average daily census of around 7 patients. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:6. May be required to float within a 25-mile radius. Dress code allows for any scrub color. All candidates must provide a full submittal packet, including a resume and skills checklist. This role involves providing compassionate care and individualized support to patients.
