Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift – 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM (Start time 18:45) Guaranteed Hours: 36–40 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend Key Responsibilities - Provide respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders and established protocols - Manage ventilator support including Draeger or GE ventilators - Provide advanced respiratory therapies including HFOV - Monitor and assess patient response to treatment - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams - Float within discipline across campuses as needed - Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of previous respiratory therapy experience (Required) - At least one completed travel contract (Preferred) - Active Iowa State License (Required) - Experience with Draeger or GE ventilators (Required) - Experience with High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) (Required) - Ability to float to PICU/NICU (Required) - EMR System: EPIC If you have any concerns or preferences regarding shifts, weekly pay, or location, please let me know.
