Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Regular shifts with guaranteed 16 hours per week • On-call schedule: 1 night per week and every 3rd weekend from 7:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday • Float across all Des Moines campuses to like units as needed • Handle assigned cases on rare occasions during call schedule • Must have at least 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience • Structural heart experience required • EP (Electrophysiology) experience highly preferred • Travel experience highly preferred • Strong and experienced circulator skills required • Scrubber role highly preferred • Must be willing to precept as needed • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • Iowa nursing license required (compact/multistate acceptable) • Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required • Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred • Valid driver's license required Facility: This major healthcare system operates multiple campuses throughout the Des Moines metropolitan area, providing comprehensive cardiovascular services including advanced cardiac catheterization procedures.
