Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.What you will Do: -Assists Pharmacist in prescription order preparation/delivery.Assists in maintaining medication and supply inventory.Performs computer data entry and print functions.Initiates and completes sales transactions. (retail only)Performs private and third party billing functions.Prepares sterile intravenous medication admixture solutions. (inpatient only)Maintains floor stock medication levels in patient care areas. Registered with Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Technician or as a Pharmacy Intern within 30 days of hire.Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties. Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology preferred. Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
