Endocrinology opening in Sioux City, IA - 1 hour to Omaha, NE Job Description: - Opportunity to work with patients with diabetes on an outpatient basis. Providing diabetes education and management on an patients and families- Focus on planning, supervising treatments, and monitoring of diabetes related health concerns- Work in collaboration with Diabetes Educators from an ADA Accredited Diabetes Self- Management program- Coordinating care of patients with the patients primary care provider- Competitive compensation and benefits package Including signing bonus, relocation, 401K match, CME allowance, and time off- Onsite services (x-ray, lab, etc.)- 36 Patient Contact hours flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access- Full integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination- Ability to mold practice- Additional details by request from group Responsibilities: - Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve- Provide the best outcome for every patient every time Qualifications: - MD or DO- Board Certified- Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in the state(s) in which physician provides services- Eligible to work in the United States- Ability to work as a team member About the Group: A non-profit 900-member physician group practice serving 2,000,000 patients from 280 locations in Iowa and Illinois.
