Job Title: Foundry Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Waterloo Works Foundry, Waterloo, IA
Job Type: 1st and 3rd shift; primarily 3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am; overtime possible



Job Description:
As a Foundry OFP Manufacturing Engineer, you will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering projects across the foundry. Operating in a team environment, you will collaborate closely with other engineers, supervisors, and operators within the order fulfilment process.

Responsibilities:
--- Coordinate and execute engineering projects
--- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
--- Work approximately 75% on the shop floor

Required Skills/Experiences:
--- 1+ years of foundry/process engineering
--- Effective team collaboration
--- Project management skills
--- Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
--- Effective communication and problem solving skills

Desired Skills/Experiences:
--- Manufacturing line/process design experience
--- Experience with SAP, MES, Creo, AutoCAD
--- Controls Engineering/safety system design experience
--- Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience

Education:
--- Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Technology or relevant work experience

Additional Information:
--- Business casual dress code; metatarsals required first day
--- Potential travel to other facilities for training
--- May drive a Gator inside the factory after completing training
--- Visa sponsorship not available
--- Manager open to recent grads with relevant internships
