***Pre-Op, PACU and Circulating**** Call1-2 times per week and at least every 3rd weekend. Response time- 30 minutes OR Details --- # suites- 2 suites and an Endo suite --- # of cases per day - up to 15- sometimes 20 if they have cataracts or pain cases scheduled; Pain cases are performed in the endo room --- Required Certifications- BLS, ACLS, PALS --- Common Cases- Everything except for head, heart and back --- Experience or 'Must have' skills- Ortho and General; the rest of the areas are preferred --- Scrubbing required - RN's --- OR techs- 1 Tech --- EMR- Epic --- Shifts & Scheduling- must be flexible with schedule as they do not have their own surgeon in-house and have to work with the traveling surgeon's schedule - will guarantee 40 hours a week; normally M-F and 6:30am is the normal start time --- Weeknight/Call Requirement- yes --- Weekend/Call Requirement 1-2 nights a week; EOW (Friday night to Monday morning) --- Holiday/Call Requirement - if needed --- Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement? See call requirement above --- What is call response time? 30 minutes (housing is important- if traveler is unable to find housing within 30 minutes of the facility, please reach out to CM) --- Floating Requirements - Pre-op and PACU --- Scrub Color/Dress Code- provided --- Unit/Department specific orientation- General- virtual- 1 hour- facility will email link prior to start date. Floor Orientation- 1 day --- Additional Notes- 1 year experience; will consider 1st time traveler --- Reinforce flexibility- traveler must be flexible overall --- CRNA's, no anesthesiologist onsite --- VERY Traveler friendly - hospital as well as entire town- very welcoming!
