Together, we accomplish great things!In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Apply extensive scientific knowledge with broad laboratory experience to support complex projects and troubleshooting as directed for internal projects, external customer projects and collaborations
- Apply experience in product development and commercialization, sales support, and new applications. Support for RUO and IVD product development, Rapid Innovation prototypes and Early Access Products, and custom workflows
- Help sustain the existing xGen Portfolio with marketing enhancements through customer publications and other available data to keep web content and pitch decks refreshed and current
- Assist with general scientific and product training for other IDT groups, participate in new technology assessments, and generate tech landscapes
- Represent IDT at scientific conference and trade shows and assist IDT sales reps with field visits to key customers as needed.The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in life science (biology, molecular biology, genetics, chemistry, biochemistry) or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant lab experience in an academic, research, or industry setting
- 5+ years of demonstrated extensive knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with customer support, product development and product commercializationTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationallyIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
