Shifts : In general we offer 8, and 12 hour shifts for our CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions. - Days: 6am-2:30 pm
- Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm
- Nights: 10pm-6:30am

Role: We are seeking a dedicated Life Services Coordinator - CNA to join our Maggie's Place Memory Care Team! The Life Services Coordinator - CNA is responsible for cultivating an environment that maximizes each residents independence. The Life Services Coordinator - CNA is responsible for delivering assistance with personal care, medications, social and recreational activities, meals, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of tenants. Responsibilities: - The CNA provides resident assistance with grooming and dressing guidance, bathing, and medication assistance
- The CNA reviews the Staff 24-Hour Communication log and corresponding Tenant Service Notes on a daily basis
- The CNA prepares and serves meals and snacks, followed by clean-up
- The CNA maintains kitchen cleanliness.
- The CNA makes beds and change linens.
- The CNA facilitates laundry service.
- The CNA does housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and common spaces
- The CNA maintains activity calendar and engage tenants in activities such as spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activities
- The CNA provides companionship
- The CNA works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting
- The CNA follows safety policies in performing care, assuring resident safety
- The CNA follows and upholds policies and procedures
- The CNA attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
- The CNA follows infection control guidelines
- The CNA observes residents rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
- The CNA performs all other duties as assigned by the charge nurse and/or Maggie's Place Director
Qualifications Qualifications: - The Life Services Coordinator - CNA must be able to think, act and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations. He/she must be self-motivated. He/she must have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally, with the ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Must have 1-2 years previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting. Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Valid CNA in state of which applying is preferred, but not required.
