Job Title Food and Beverage Salesman Reports to Ownership Job purpose This position is responsible for maximizing sales of our product lines by closing business on an ongoing basis; meeting our company's production objectives; negotiating with existing accounts for further sales; delivering products to the customers business site; developing delivery routes strategically; maintaining contracts and other documents and performing other tasks needed to ensure customer satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities Ensuring customer problems are solved quickly Building relationships with suppliers, companies, and clients Developing programs to attain maximum customer satisfaction Charting product sales per location and demographic Sending customers updated pricing sheets and marketing materials Training at customers sites on how to promote our products Developing pricing structure for food and beverage items - research will be required Developing new customers for food and alcoholic beverage sales in Iowa and Illinois to begin Work directly with 3333 Foods and Busted Cup Brewhouse for projected volumes needed per week, month and further outlooks Delivering of products to customers until business unit growth is sustainable for additional employees / drivers Build positive relationships with customers Managing other employees - in particular route drives, other outside sales, etc as business unit grows Qualifications Experience in selling food and beverage items is ideal Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in sales and/or marketing is ideal Two plus years of experience in sales and/or marketing is ideal Carrying out managerial responsibilities, monitoring utilization of projects and efficiency of employees Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills Must have experience working with external/outsourced work development and support vendors Must be able to interact with senior management to present business cases and project status with positive results Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Ability to manage and direct others (future) Working conditions This position will require creativity, a great work ethic, ability to think outside the box, work on your own, and be able to produce positive results in a quick timeline.
