SHAZAM is looking for an Object-Oriented Software Engineer with a focus on C and Python. This position will be responsible for supporting and expanding the organization's real time transaction processing applications to ensure all customers have the real time experience we all expect when making purchases.

What you'll do:

  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Experience with C - required, 5-7 years
  • Experience with Python - required, 1-3 years
  • Passion for development and testing
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong decision making skills
  • Ability to be a self-directed learner
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills What makes you stand out:
    • Experience working with POSIX-like systems
    • Relational database experience
    • Experience with Java
    • Message-oriented middleware experience
    • Web Services knowledge
    • Understanding of PKI, SSL/TLS, general cryptography concepts
    • Understanding of unit testing concepts and experience with xUnit testing frameworks
    • Experience working with version control software (Git, SVN, etc.)
    • Automated build systems (make, CMake, Ant, etc.) experience
    • Experience with continuous integration/delivery and automation frameworks such as Jenkins & Ansible
    • Experience with Elastic or similar monitoring/observability tool
      Starting annual salary from $74,000 to $120,000.
