Job Description NEW Medical Technologist Opening Location: Mooresville, North Carolina Area Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to join a collaborative clinical laboratory team. This role is well-suited for a skilled technologist who thrives in a quality-focused environment and is confident performing complex testing with a high level of independence. Key Responsibilities Perform all duties of a Medical Technologist I independently, demonstrating strong clinical competency Receive, process, and analyze specimens according to departmental protocols Produce, interpret, and report accurate and precise test results Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that may affect test performance or reporting Perform routine instrument maintenance and assist with method troubleshooting Assist in designing and updating procedures to improve testing efficiency and accuracy And more! Education & Certification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science (or medical technology) Valid ASCP or AMT certification required Ongoing continuing education required to maintain certification and licensure Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of relevant laboratory experience preferred Interested!?
