Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/07/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details: • Work in cardiovascular operating room with floating to main OR required approximately 50% of the time • 2 years of nursing experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR preferred • Call requirements: Every 3rd weekend and 2 weekday call shifts per week • Call begins once scheduled shift is completed and continues until 7:00 AM the following morning • Must be able to respond to calls within 30 minutes • Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 40 hours of orientation provided • Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Experience with cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and hybrid procedures • Knowledge of specialized equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, IABP, and cell saver • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays • Cerner charting system experience preferred • Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date • Floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals is 100% required • 5 days of non-holiday time off can be auto-approved Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program with state-of-the-art operating rooms and hybrid facilities.
