Job Description Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff Registered Nurse – 2 Surgical Unit Location: Fort Wayne, IN About the Unit: The 2-Surgical Unit is a 35-bed Med Surg floor caring for patients with lower to moderate acuity. Typical diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, alcohol withdrawal, drug dependency, and nursing home placements. The unit also supports post-op care for appendectomy, cholecystectomy, gynecological, and orthopedic procedures. Patient stays are generally short term, providing a fast-paced but supportive environment. Compensation & Incentives: - Salary range: ASN $28.66–$47.29 / BSN $30.66–$49.29 - Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 - Relocation assistance available Qualifications: - Diploma, ASN, or BSN in Nursing - Current or eligible Indiana RN license (may obtain after offer) - CPR certification (additional certifications may be required) - Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with 100 lbs - Strong communication and teamwork skills We have nursing opportunities nationwide!
