Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Inpatient Oncology Job Duration: Permanent Shift: Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: At least 2 years of oncology or Med/Surg nursing experience License: Indiana RN license or compact license Certifications: BLS required, Oncology certification preferred Must-Have: - 1.5 years of Oncology or Med/Surg experience preferred Job Description: - Utilize various medical equipment including vital machines, bed alarms, bladder scanners, EMR-EPIC, SCDs, Bi-pap machines, suction, and lifts - Perform tasks such as managing central lines and conducting AM draws - Monitor patients receiving 24-hour chemotherapy but do not administer chemotherapy or care for radiation patients - Work 12-hour shifts with the potential to float to other departments such as medical, Med/Surg, and ONT - Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 in a 22-bed unit - Adhere to the dress code of Caribbean Blue - Direct hire opportunity requiring acute setting RN experience - Eligible for sign-on bonus and possible relocation assistance 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Different healthcare facilities may have varying levels of technological advancements.
