Production Supervisor – Night Shift Schedule: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM | 2-2-3 Rotation (Must be able to train on day shift) Location : Decatur, IN 46733 Salary: $65,000 annually Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery goals Maintain an active presence on the production floor (50% of shift) to support employees and drive performance Supervise 18–30 production employees, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and corrective action Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate production plans, metrics, and company updates Attend Tier meetings, update visual boards, and report performance metrics to leadership Develop and execute training plans for new hires and ongoing employee development Identify production issues and implement timely corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and equipment operation procedures Create and adjust shift schedules based on production demands Maintain accurate shift reports, SPC data, and production documentation Ensure equipment readiness, material availability, and housekeeping standards Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives Develop and coach Production Leads to oversee operations in the supervisor’s absence Support departmental budgets and business planning initiatives Qualifications 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment 10 years of overall manufacturing experience Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills Proven ability to make independent decisions and manage priorities on night shift Experience with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management Solid knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation Thermoforming or plastics manufacturing experience preferred TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
