Job Description Job Description Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Southfield Village | Greencroft Communities Southfield, IN Are you a compassionate nurse leader ready to take the next step in your career? Southfield Village, a faith-based nonprofit and part of Greencroft Communities, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead our clinical team. In this leadership role, you’ll partner with the Director of Nursing to support and mentor nursing staff, ensure high quality resident care, and foster a positive, team centered environment across both Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living . What You’ll Do As ADON, you will: Provide hands-on clinical leadership and daily support to nursing staff Oversee resident care in both Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Supervise, mentor, and help develop nursing team members Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations Participate in an on-call leadership rotation Support regulatory compliance (state & federal) and survey readiness Help with care planning, audits, and plans of correction Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous quality improvement What You Bring Active RN or LPN license in Indiana (required) Supervisory experience in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living (required) Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of MDS and care planning (preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Southfield Village?
