Inventory Assistant Location: Jeffersonville, IN 47130 | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $17.31/hour starting pay • $0.82/hour upon Tech In Training status • $0.82/hour upon Pharmacy Technician License • Monday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Tuesday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM • Mandatory Overtime ROLE IMPACT As an Inventory Assistant, you ensure timely and accurate receipt, handling, and storage of pharmaceutical inventory to safeguard patient health and streamline pharmacy operations. Your attention to detail and efficiency support the pharmacy’s ability to deliver safe, accurate, and prompt service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Verify, receive, and sort incoming inventory using handheld scanner and manual input • Reconcile product against purchase orders; identify mis-picks, shortages, or overages • Perform cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist with annual physical inventory • Rotate inventory using FIFO method; monitor and remove expired/short-dated products • Support inventory logistics including returns, recalls, and variance resolution • Maintain compliance with DSCSA, HIPAA, and safety protocols • Assist with packing, shipping, replenishment, and other technician duties as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or GED • Basic math and computer skills; RF scanner experience a plus • Willing to get Pharmacy tech in training license • Previous warehouse or inventory experience • Experience operating pallet jack or similar equipment • Ability to perform repetitive physical work (lifting, standing, bending) • Effective communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT • General office and warehouse conditions with regular exposure to physical activity • Regular lifting of 20–25 lbs, frequent walking/standing (8 hours/day) • Use of pallet jacks, dollies, box cutters, and step ladders PREFERRED SKILLS • Familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare inventory processes LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
