  Job Details
  • Travel RN / Medical Surgical position at Lutheran Downtown Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
  • Start ASAP with a 13-week duration.
  • Scope of role includes Med Surg / Med Tele level with a patient ratio of 6:1.
  • Number of beds in unit: 26.
  • Approved orientation period is 2 days.
  • Floating required to Medical Surgical or ED holding units.
  • Block scheduling is implemented.
  • Shift is nights from 7 PM to 7 AM with no call requirements.
    Job Requirements
    • RN Indiana licensure required.
    • BLS certification required.
    • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
    • EMR experience with Cerner preferred.
    • Travelers must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected.
    • Driver's license and permanent home address must be included on submission and address must match ID.
    • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
      Schedule Information
      • Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.
      • No call requirements.
      • Block scheduling in place.
      • Maximum amount of RTO (request time off) allowed is 3 days.
        Unit Specific Information
        • Unit is Medical Surgical / Medical Telemetry level with a 1:6 patient ratio.
        • Scrub color is blue.
