We have the highest staff to resident ratio in Kosciusko County.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position Overview:As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Grace Village, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the overall health and happiness of our residents.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:Participate in nursing reports and take detailed notesHelp residents with personal hygiene activities, turning, lifting, and positioning them when neededAssist residents with daily dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.), with bath functions (i.e., bed, bathtub or shower bath, etc.) and with hair care functions (i.e., combing, brushing, shampooing, etc.)Change bed linens-Keep linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under the residentAssist resident with bowel and bladder functions (i.e., take to bathroom, offer bedpan/urinal, portable commode, etc.)Assist residents in preparing for activity and social programsCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications:Valid CNA certification in the state of IndianaHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient demeanorAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamA desire to build meaningful relationships with residents through day-to-day interactionsCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Physical Demands:Demands Description FrequencyStanding Full weight on tiled or carpeted floors ConstantWalking Required throughout complex.
