Summary:
The Staff Accountant supports the accounting and finance function by performing a variety of general accounting and financial duties. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of general ledger accounting records, performing reconciliations, and participating in monthly financial closing procedures to ensure the timely preparation, presentation, and analysis of financial statements.



Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy of accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and procedures.
Perform general accounting functions, including recording accruals, reviewing and recording prepaids and amortization, recording journal entries, and preparing account reconciliations.
Track, compile, and record monthly ASC606 Revenue Recognition reconciliation.
Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts.
Apply knowledge of ASC842 to ensure compliance with lease accounting standards.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly corporate financial packages.
Support month-end reporting and ad hoc analysis.
Provide support during internal and external audits and other accounting projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
CMA and/or CPA preferred.
3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a SOX compliant company; manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Advanced ability to gather, monitor, analyze, and document data.
Advanced proficiency in PC applications, particularly spreadsheets (e.g., Pivot Tables, Lookups, Formulas).
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills.



Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
