We are currently seeking an experienced dental assistant or EFDA to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice. Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a dental assistant required EFDA certification preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems is a plus Perks and Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance Holiday pay, PTO + additional gifted hours Ongoing training and career development opportunities Organization wide and Dental Assistant specific social events $100 annual scrub allowance Paid Maternity Leave 401(k) retirement plan Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies, and equipment as necessaryIf you are passionate about helping others and interested in continuing your dental career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.
