Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.Work Environment:--Must be able to work in temperatures of 34 degrees or less.Must be flexible and able to work as needed (currently 3 shifts).Must be able to work in a high-speed environment.Work Flow:----Identify and make up orders off a pick sheet.Pick and stage outbound shipments.Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage.Stage a trailer to ensure that shipments are loaded properly and maximum loads are achieved.Clear packaging area by securing and loading finished pallets, and moving empty pallets.Maintain a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic: following standards and procedures: and complying with legal regulations per all forklift operations.Accomplish warehousing and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.Use the scanner in the correct manner to properly scan and maintain accurate inventory levels.Complete necessary forklift maintenance and associated reports to ensure maximum forklift performance and overall plant safety.Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary manner.Company Expectations:----Maintain a good rapport with all Carl Buddig and Company co-workers.Comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined per the Carl Buddig and Company employee handbook.Take responsibility in your area of employment with Carl Buddig and Company for reporting, making recommendations, and correcting situations adverse to the company's best interest.Take responsibility in your work area to produce a safe and quality food product.Report all food safety-related problems to your supervisor, manager, or to the quality assurance department in order to initiate immediate action.In the event that the person in this position is absent, he/she will be replaced by a person properly trained to perform such duties.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
