- Purchased in 1934 from Breyer's Ice Cream and began producing caramel in 1935
- Began producing Marshmallows and Marshmallow Cr--me in 1961 and Marbits (think dehydrated marshmallows found in cereal) in 1979
- Kendallville is the sole producer of all our product lines

Responsibilities & Duties: - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment as needed associated with the building, production, and utilities.
- Coordinate with production to address any corrective maintenance required on assigned equipment to ensure optimum line efficiency and product quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections on all production, building, and utilities equipment as assigned.
- Participate in the development of documented preventive maintenance plan.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment and system design.
- Analyze equipment failures and recommend/implement corrective actions.
- Communicate with maintenance personnel on other shifts, as necessary, to ensure coordination of maintenance efforts on assigned equipment.
- Work cross functionally as a member of the operations team.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
Qualifications: - Maintenance training/degree and experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- Self-motivated and strong drive for results.
- Use simple mathematics
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Able to climb a ladder.
- Able to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles.
- Able to work in hot and humid conditions.
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing, quality standards, hygiene, work safety, etc. preferred
