Do What's Right by acting safely, ethically, and sustainablyPosition Summary:This position is responsible for supporting, critiquing, engaging and expanding US and Canadian Regenerative Agriculture (Regen Ag) programs across Bunge s trade territory.Core Functions:
Communicate with farmer and downstream customers of Bunge on regenerative agriculture principles and outcomes
Service farmer customers in areas of contracting regenerative ag acres, explaining protocols and addressing issues in a proactive manner that exceeds expectations and builds strong relationships
Communicate with grain merchandising staff, farmers, Nutrien retail agronomists and outcome validators
Build relationships with new and existing customers to grow program adoption
Coordinate and assist in managing regenerative ag traceability
Give input on yearly regenerative ag program structure to achieve desired targets
Continue to help build strong relationships with technology providers in the agronomic space
Facilitate and assist in the communication and exchange of business information and market conditions between local and corporate management in a timely and accurate manner
Organize farmer meetings
Assist in coordinating data capture and management
Understanding of the various renewable diesel regulatory frameworks in the US and Canada.
Check local competition and elevator bid structure ensuring Bunge is competitive
Ensure compliance of contracts
Train and educate new merchants as needed
Lead new and existing Bunge programs and initiatives
Perform other duties as assignedSkills/Experience Requirements:
Six to ten years of experience in agriculture, natural resources, soil fertility or soil carbon in the US Midwest
Bachelor s degree in Business, Agriculture Economics or related field
Demonstrated leadership in communication and collaboration across diverse functional groups to achieve results while maintaining effective relationships is required
Strong interest in agronomy, specifically regenerative agriculture
In-depth knowledge of agronomic principles
Strong sales knowledge and negotiations skills
Ability to lead teams to execute on new initiatives
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, specifically in farmer facing situations
