- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be dependable and on time
- Own means of dependable transportation
- Provide some personal tools/list available on request
- 2 years minimum experience in a petro/chemical industry
- Must be able to work in adverse/inclement weather conditions
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot, then make a good decision to fix the problem
- Must be able to read a tape measure and work with precision measuring instrumentsResponsibilities & Duties:
- Performs maintenance/repairs/troubleshooting and installation on the following process plant equipment, but not limited to: pumps, motors, gear drives, centrifuges and other rotating equipment with an emphasis on seals, bearings and mechanical seals
- Performs maintenance, repair and troubleshooting on rotary screw air compressors
- Removal and installation of process valves
- Performs m/r/t on steam boilers and auxiliary equipment
- Metal fabrication skills are required
