- Monday thru Friday 7:00 - 4:00 schedule -Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of inpatient clinical policies that assist IUHP in reaching it's goals and objectives.
- Assist IUHP management by providing a clinician's support in IUHP's day-to-day operations. -
- Participate in identifying, classifying and obtaining approvals of clinical algorithms in medicine that optimize patient outcomes within IUHP.
- Support IUHPs efforts with physician education programs.
- Support IUHP's efforts to establish a positive image for IUHP in the medical community as a group with highly specialized skills. -
- Actively participate in IUHPs efforts to facilitate improved utilization management and quality assurance functions within the sub-specialty
- Provide medical direction to anesthesia residents, fellows and other assistants.
- Academic - At the direction of and under the supervision of the Academic Chair of the Department of Anesthesia, Physician shall work on medical research and/or teaching programs in the field of Anesthesia and related fields, which the Academic Chair, after consultation with the Physician, shall determine from time to time. Physician shall participate in the appropriate undergraduate and graduate medical educational programs sponsored by the school.Qualifications -
- Residency training in Anesthesiology required.
- Board eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology required. -
