General Position Summary The E-commerce Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of various e-commerce projects. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project objectives are met, and driving the successful implementation of e-commerce initiatives. Principle Duties and Responsibilities - Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, both within the team and with key stakeholders.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation plans to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and ensure the accuracy and functionality of e-commerce platforms and features.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, including e-commerce platform providers, software developers, and service providers.
- Timeline Management: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Testing and Deployment: Coordinate testing, user acceptance, and deployment of e-commerce solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor post-implementation performance, gathering and analyzing data to drive ongoing improvements. Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in e-commerce or digital projects.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and technologies.
