General Position Summary

The E-commerce Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of various e-commerce projects. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project objectives are met, and driving the successful implementation of e-commerce initiatives.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to ensure project success.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, both within the team and with key stakeholders.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation plans to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and ensure the accuracy and functionality of e-commerce platforms and features.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, including e-commerce platform providers, software developers, and service providers.
• Timeline Management: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time.
• Testing and Deployment: Coordinate testing, user acceptance, and deployment of e-commerce solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Performance Evaluation: Monitor post-implementation performance, gathering and analyzing data to drive ongoing improvements. Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in e-commerce or digital projects.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce trends and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
