Job Description Job Description My Client, who is located in downtown Chicago, IL, has an immediate requirement for a Project Structural Engineer with Construction Administration experience. Your daily responsibilities will include design/analysis of vertical structures. Must have minimum of 8 years' experience within the United States in Buildings, no bridge experience. Responsibilities/Requirements: · Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering, required · PE Licensed Engineer, preferred · Minimum 8 years' experience as a Structural Engineer - design and calculations (working with Architects) - Experience in Construction Administration: managing projects, coordinating with contractors, working with Architects · Experience using ETABS, RISA or similar analysis software; AutoCAD/Revit experience · Experience in the design of vertical structures (Hi-Rise, Educational, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, Renovation) · Strong technical experience in the design of steel, concrete, and/or heavy timber structures · Oversight and detailing of projects being managed · Good verbal and written communication skills More...
