This position is being opened as part of a planned retirement transition. Position Overview The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting and financial administrative tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable support, reconciliations, and financial record keeping. This role works closely with ownership and operations to ensure accurate and timely financial information. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper who values consistency, organization, and being part of a stable small-business environment. Key Responsibilities · Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable · Assist with accounts receivable, customer payments, and collections tracking · Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements · Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries · Assist with month-end close processes · Generate basic financial and operational reports · Assist with coordination of outside accounting and tax professionals Qualifications · 3 years bookkeeping or accounting support experience · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 50 (strongly preferred), QuickBooks, or similar systems · Strong Excel and general computer skills · Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines Preferred Experience · Experience in distribution, construction, or small business environments · Familiarity with inventory-based accounting systems · Experience working in a collaborative small-team environment What We’re Looking For · Dependable and consistent · Detail-oriented and highly organized · Comfortable working independently while supporting a small team · Aligned with Alpha Supply Corp.'s Core Values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Compensation & Benefits · Hourly pay range: $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience · Paid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO) · SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer matching contributions · Stable work environment with long-term opportunity To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief note describing your experience and interest in the role.
