The Home Visitor provides comprehensive, long-term home-visiting services within a strength-based, family-centered model to high risk first-time parents and families with young children, birth through 5 years of age. The Home Visitor also assesses infant/child and family needs, help families to establish plans to reach family and child development goals, assists families to expand their support systems, provides parenting support, and facilitates groups. Core Responsibilities: Meet regularly with families with young children in their homes to complete assessments, develop goals, and provide services aligned with the strengths and needs of the child and family. Provide observations of parent-child interactions, including assessing for effective communication and empathic responses, and engage parents in reflective dialogue on the developing parent-child relationship. Assist parents in forming community connections aligned with service goals, including referral and linkage with providers of early intervention, mental health, health care, and other supportive services. Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with key community providers. Candidate qualifications: Associates degree in social work, psychology, early childhood, child development or other closely related field preferred One year of experience working with families with children under the age of 5 required. Able to attend in-person family visits and meetings, and you must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred. Job details: Compensation: Hourly: Range is between $19.00-$21.00 per hour, offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs.
