This role involves managing kitchen operations, developing menus that cater to diverse preferences, and ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations. Plan, direct, and oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including menu development, inventory control, and procurement. Ensure the provision of nutritious, safe, and appealing meals, adapting menus to dietary needs and preferences. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to foster a cooperative and efficient working environment. Uphold and enhance health and safety standards in accordance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate effectively with school administrators and staff to align food service operations with educational goals and events.
