Key Qualifications and Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois required at application submission. Active Iowa RN license also required. If not active, proof of application for Iowa single state or compact RN license must be submitted. Experience with stepdown or intermediate care nursing preferred. Ability to adapt to floating within the same discipline across multiple local campuses. Commitment to patient-focused care and proficient clinical skills. Willingness to engage in orientation dated throughout the calendar year 2026. Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care in a stepdown unit using EPIC electronic medical records. Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Provide clinical leadership when acting as charge nurse or preceptor. Maintain compliance with state nursing regulations and facility policies. Participate proactively in ongoing education and department meetings.
