Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission Active Iowa RN license required; if inactive, proof of application for IA single state or compact RN license must be provided Experience in stepdown nursing preferred Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses Strong clinical and professional nursing skills Location:Rock Island, Illinois is part of the scenic Quad Cities area along the Mississippi River. Local candidates living within 50 miles are eligible with special billing considerations. Responsibilities: Deliver and manage nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Utilize EPIC EMR to document and coordinate patient care Participate in floating assignments as needed within related campuses Schedule & Hours: NBO: 16 hours per week Standard workweek is 36-40 hours; overtime applies beyond 40 hours Orientation schedules available regularly throughout the year (see specific dates) Additional Details: OT/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x Callback pay multiplier: 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum On-call pay: hourly rate provided Charge/Precept pay hourly rate available This travel assignment provides a rewarding clinical experience with a supportive team and flexible scheduling options.
