Job Description Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) for a job in Kewanee, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 32 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, nights - Employment Type: Staff Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Direct Hire (Open to New Grads!) Shift Differentials: - $3/hr for 2nd shift - $4/hr for 3rd shift - $3.25/hr weekend differential Eligibility: - Open to new grads - Not able to consider candidates who currently require or will require visa sponsorship Role Snapshot Performs routine and complex clinical laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Ensures quality and accuracy of results, performs instrument maintenance and calibration, troubleshoots issues, and may assist with blood collection or training of staff/students. Requires strong independent judgment and professional competency. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science - ASCP or AMT CLS certification - Must be completed within 1 year of hire - Alternative bachelor’s degrees accepted if certification is completed prior to employment - Maintains active certification per agency guidelines - Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism - Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, research, and resolve day‑to‑day lab issues - 1-2 years exp preferred but not required About Medical Solutions Direct Hire At Medical Solutions, we’re people who care, helping people who care.
