Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: State license in Illinois required; Iowa license required upon offer Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines - Knowledge of medications including amiodarone, cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban, including some titration Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Requires a work history that demonstrates relevant experience and a skills checklist completed within one year of the submission date. A supervisory reference is required at the time of submission. Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
