Location: New Pharmacy - 1 Medical Center Drive, Suite 1, Galena, Illinois 61036 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM (closes for lunch 12:30PM-1:00PM) Perks: On-site parking, full-time benefits, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance Salary: $140,000- $150,000 Amazing Pharmacy Manager Opportunity! Lead a new retail pharmacy as Pharmacist in Charge. Prepare and dispense pharmaceuticals, manage inventory, lead a team of technicians, and handle day-to-day operations with high responsibility and expertise. Essential Responsibilities: Review and execute provider prescriptions for appropriateness and legality. Organize pharmacy layout for efficiency; maintain inventory, stocking, labeling, and monitor product conditions. Counsel patients on needs, issues, and medications; prepare individualized doses. Maintain patient profiles, medication histories, and ensure HIPAA/FWA compliance. Comply with federal, state, local laws, and facility policies. Direct pharmacy technicians: oversee schedules, performance evaluations, and report issues to senior management. Handle other duties as assigned. Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Active Pharmacist license in Illinois (must be current; no pending applications). 3-5 years retail pharmacy management experience (retail environment required). Excellent leadership, oral, and written communication skills. Proficiency with patient management systems. HS diploma or equivalent. Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, use fine motor skills, and handle objects/tools.
