We are currently seeking a committed Clinical Nurse to support our Surgical Care Unit during night shifts. The candidate will play a critical role in managing patient care, ensuring the well-being of post-operative patients through attentive, specialized nursing processes and by leveraging in-depth knowledge of surgical care procedures. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for surgical patients Monitor patient recovery and adjust care plans based on patient progress Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and any necessary lifestyle adjustments Maintain accurate patient records and report any concerns to supervising medical personnel Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control regulations Proficient in managing post-operative care and pain Able to operate surgical monitoring equipment and perform minor surgical assistance Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capability to work effectively in a high-stress environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred More...
