Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A state-licensed Occupational Therapist is needed for a full-time contract position working within the school setting in Joliet, IL. This role involves providing OT services to elementary and middle school students across two sites, following the school schedule for 37.5 hours per week. The position requires working on-site at one location each day, supporting mainly general education and resource classrooms with some involvement in self-contained special education settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to school-aged children, focusing on elementary and middle grade students. Collaborate with educators to support students in general education, resource, and self-contained classrooms. Develop and implement individualized therapy goals, track progress, and provide documentation. Apply sensory integration techniques and pediatric therapy experience tailored to the school environment. Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois. Experience working with pediatric populations or within school settings. Knowledge of sensory integration and ability to apply therapy goals within a school framework. Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, educators, and families. Position Details: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) contract role as a W-2 employee. Two campus locations, with one site per dayno travel during school hours. Immediate start preferred, with interviews conducted via Zoom. Schedule aligns with the school day calendar.
