This position requires a dedicated individual who will be responsible for monitoring patients' heart rates using specialized equipment, and providing direct and comprehensive nursing care specifically for cardiac patients within our telemetry units. Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, thus providing timely intervention. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes. Provide a detailed report to healthcare team on patients' status during shift changes. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Proficiency in using cardiac telemetry equipment. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Resilience in high-stress situations.
