Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years School Social Work experience required. This opportunity is for a Social Worker position serving multiple schools in the Zion, IL area, available immediately through June 5, 2026. This role requires an in-person presence 2 to 3 days per week, with a strong preference for 3 days, providing essential support at two primary schools with additional coverage as needed. Key Responsibilities: Deliver social work services to students, families, and school staff to support student well-being and academic success. Assess student needs and develop intervention plans tailored to individual circumstances. Collaborate with educators, counselors, and community resources to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Maintain documentation and case records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements. Participate in meetings and provide consultation to school teams regarding student support strategies. Qualifications: Possession of a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a social worker endorsement. Experience working within school environments preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative school team. Flexibility to cover multiple school locations as needed. Location & Schedule: Based in Zion, IL serving Shiloh Park, West, and surrounding schools. Travel between schools required. In-person work expected 2-3 days per week, ideally 3 days.
