Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Detroit, MI, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade across two school buildings. This contract role runs from as soon as possible through June 10th, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, offering a consistent in-person schedule with a caseload of 40 students. Candidates must hold an active license and possess experience in school settings, with a strong preference for those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-8 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with educational goals. Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to monitor student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Deliver services exclusively in person; no virtual or telepractice options available. Support and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who may be part of the team. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active, valid SLP license. Demonstrated experience in school-based speech therapy. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during school hours.
