In this role, you willbe responsible for: Providingdirect partnershipand IT system ownershipinsupportofstakeholders in R&D DevelopmentSciencesChemical Manufacturing Control (CMC)AnalyticalR&D(ARD), DrugProductDevelopment (DPD), ProcessR&D(PRD)across various sites. Providesstrategic technology consultation,guidanceand leadership (whereappropriate)for business/domain initiatives. Develop and lead plans necessary to deliver thetechnologicalcapabilities needed to enable businessobjectives. Analyzes business processes; elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements;identifies, creates proposals, and presents alternative solutions, assessesfeasibilityand makes recommendations typicallyseekingto exploit andleveragenew or existing IT technology components.; change management; and leads, coordinates/performs testing, verification, and validation of requirements. Tools and skills you will use in this role: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Work with businessteamsto understand specific business processes, business drivers, and businessstrategiesacross multiple functions,identifies,prioritizesand communicates resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via technology Useappropriate toolsto collect,correlateand analyze data; record andmaintaintechnical system and SDLC documentation and training materials. Conduct testing anddevelop preliminary findings. Adhere to AbbVie system standards and procedures. Manage projects according to project scope and milestones.Determineapproach and solution to problem when issue is within scope.Guide the efforts of technical teams Proactively investigate and understand capabilities of existing systems and technologies already in use across the business area and similar and interconnected business areas in AbbVie;Investigates emerging internal and external technologies and actively connects these capabilities to proactively address business needs Anticipaterisks project/program risks, defines mitigation plans and works with teams to implement. Working with business partners and BTO management, responsible for resolving changes to scope, issues and risks that will affect multiple and/or large-scale projects/programs. Anticipate andrespondto current and emerging business needs andevaluatealternative IT solutions using standard informationsystemsmethodologies and best practices. Proactively seeksstrategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing IT capabilities (across multiple business areas) with high-level business unit executives providing key opinion-leading clients with comprehensive strategic analyses and insights to help them discover strategic uses of IT products and services. Experience managing a project/program. Buildcollaborative relationships and effectively interact with business and/or technologyteams. Acts as a liaison and business process expert toassuresuccessful implementation. Serves as a source of information to thebusiness teams. Subject matter expert in their technology and/or functional domain. ConsistentlydemonstratesAbbVie's Ways of Working and Leadership Attributes. Ability to communicate problems in terms that are understandable to BTS Leadership and end users at all levels. Qualifications Bachelors degree plus6yearstechnicalexperience;Mastersdegree plus5yearsexperience; PhD plus 0 years experience. IT Application ownership, systemimplementation and requirements gathering working in a Business Systems analysis or consulting capacity. Experiencewith external inspection teams tofacilitateaudits,collaborate toprovide documentation, and address findings related to business applications.
