Senior General Accountant

? Compensation: $90,000 - $103,500 (depending on experience)


The Senior General Accountant will play a key role in the Accounting and Finance team, supporting month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, audit preparation, and various process improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of traditional accounting and project-based work.


Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead and manage tasks related to monthly and annual financial close.
  
  
• 
  Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and maintain general ledger reconciliations.
  
  
• 
  Support internal and external audit processes, including maintaining audit schedules.
  
  
• 
  Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  
  
• 
  Manage aspects of fixed asset tracking, cost accounting analysis, and tax compliance (Sales & Use, Property, Franchise taxes).
  
  
• 
  Assist with supporting international operations during month-end close as needed.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with the broader accounting team and contribute to process improvements and documentation updates.
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  
  
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
    
    
  • 
    5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or multi-entity environment.
    
    
  • 
    Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting standards.
    
    
  • 
    Proficiency in month-end close, financial reporting, and audit support.
    
    
  • 
    Experience with fixed assets, tax compliance, and/or cost accounting is a plus.
    
    
  • 
    Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar preferred).
    
    
  • 
    Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
