This unique role combines early-stage client engagement, lead qualification, and account development with a strong foundation in retail design. You'll serve as a first point of contact for prospects-guiding them through discovery and qualifying opportunities-while supporting the design team in converting leads into lasting client relationships.This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, design knowledge, and a strategic mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to grow within a vertically integrated, client-focused company.Key Responsibilities: - Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and website inquiries
- Qualify and nurture inbound leads; determine project viability and client needs
- Guide prospects through early discovery to a point of handoff to the design sales team
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead activity in Salesforce (or similar CRM
- Prepare and send tailored follow-up communications and materials
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure smooth, well-informed transitions of warm leads
- Track inquiry progress and assist in reporting on lead activity and conversion trends
- Coordinate showroom visits, lunch & learns, and sample/collateral requests
- Provide support for sales and marketing campaigns, tracking ROI and engagement
- Travel as required for industry events, client meetings, and trade showsQualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in retail design, business development, customer service, or sales support
- Familiarity with retail fixture systems and retail design environments
- Proficient in CRM platforms such as Salesforce; capable of managing clean and accurate data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Excellent time management and multitasking ability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Able to work independently while effectively collaborating across departments
- Career-minded with a desire to grow within a design and sales-focused companyPreferred Skills:
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit
- Interest in the retail industry and knowledge of retail merchandising principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suit
- Previous experience coordinating with clients, vendors, or internal creative teams
